1 Choose your strap
Italian LeatherCut to Your Size
Every strap starts as a full-length Italian leather blank, embossed with the texture you choose — croc, lizard, ostrich or pebbled — and cut to your measurement. Pick the colour and texture you like; the width takes care of itself.
100% CowhideCut to Your Size
Wider, heavier 100% cowhide straps made to carry a western buckle. Every strap is cut to your measurement, and the buckle snaps on and off — so one strap can carry several buckles. Pick the colour and finish you want; the width takes care of itself.
Exotic SkinsCut to Your Size
Alligator, crocodile, ostrich, python and stingray, cut to your measurement. Where a strap is sold wearing a particular buckle, that buckle is already chosen for you at the next step. Leave it as it came, or swap it for anything else that fits the same width.

This strap comes in more than one width. Which one?

2 Choose your buckle
A buckle fits one width only, so these are the ones that fit the strap you picked. A set adds the matching loop and tip.
No buckles in this width yet — come into the shop and we will fit one at the counter.

We cut this belt to you. If you are unsure of your size, tap the How do I find my size? box below.
How do I find my size?
Three ways to get it right — and it is worth knowing why they are in this order. Only the first one measures you. The other two measure something you already own, which is only as accurate as that thing happens to be.
BestMeasure your waist
Put a tape measure around your waist where you actually wear a belt — over the trousers, through the loops, not against your skin. Keep it snug but not tight. Add two inches to that number.
Wear what you would normally wear with a belt. Measuring against bare skin or over a thick jumper will both give you the wrong number.
GoodMeasure a belt that fits you properly
Lay it flat and measure from the fold where the strap meets the buckle to the hole you use.
This only works if that belt fits you well — you wear it comfortably, on a middle hole. If you have added holes to it, or you wear it on the very first or last hole, the number will be off. Measure your waist instead.
OkayPant size plus two
A 34 waist takes a 36 belt.
Only if those trousers actually fit you. A pair that is a size too big or too small is the most common reason a belt comes out wrong.
We cut so you land on the third hole, which leaves room to move in both directions as the leather settles.
Because it is cut to your measurement, a custom belt cannot be resold, so it is not returnable. If you are between sizes or unsure, ask us first — we would far rather answer a question than cut a belt wrong.
