Which exotic skin is right for you?
- Crocodile belly: smooth square tiles that start small at the center and grow toward the edges, the quickest way to tell a real belly cut from a print.
- Hornback crocodile: the ridged cut from the spine, with raised horns in rows across the front.
- Python: no two skins are marked alike. Oil-tanned python drapes softly and deepens as it's handled.
- Ostrich: raised quill bumps where the feathers grew. It stays soft and breaks in to the shape of your pocket.
- Stingray: thousands of tiny hard beads with a cream diamond down the spine. It resists scratches the way no cowhide can.
- Lizard: the finest scales and the thinnest exotic we carry, so a lizard bifold disappears in a pocket.
What fits inside
- Bifolds ($185): 6 card slots (7 on the Crocodile Belly), room behind them for 1 to 2 more cards, and 2 full-length bill compartments on most. Hornback, Stingray and Lizard add a clear ID window.
- Python Center Flap ($185): 8 card slots plus a flap with a clear ID window.
- Python Trifold ($185): short enough for a front pocket, with an ID window and 3 upright card slots.
- Exotic Money Clip ($185): a steel clip for notes and 6 card slots.
- Exotic Card Case ($150): card slots on both faces and a full-width pocket between them, in six skins.
- Clutch wallets ($195 to $250): crocodile, stingray and python, with card slots above a clear ID window and a snap closure.
Card slots start snug, one card each. Once the leather breaks in over the first few weeks, most slots take a second card.
Caring for an exotic wallet
Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. Every few months, rub in a little conditioner made for exotic skins, in the direction of the scales. If it gets wet, blot it and let it air-dry away from heat. Never use mink oil or household oils.
Shipping, and California
Every exotic wallet is over $100, so it ships free in the U.S. California law doesn't allow python, snakeskin or lizard products to be sold there, so we can't ship those wallets to California addresses. Crocodile, ostrich and stingray ship there as normal.
