What's in our western shop

• Cowboy hats ($115 to $130): nine leather hats with braided, concho, studded and bullet bands, each with a chin cord. Our Hats page has a style-by-style guide, and the Hat Sizes page shows how to measure.
• Western belts: a 38mm (1 1/2-inch) full-grain cowhide strap plus a trophy-style buckle that snaps on. Straps are $45 to $55 on our Western Straps page, and buckles $25 to $45 on our Western Buckles page.
• Bolo ties ($29): eight slides on leather cords, from a longhorn skull to a guitar headstock. See our Bolo Ties page.
• Leather vests ($95): a classic western vest with a yoke and snap front, and a dressier collared vest.
• Western earrings ($19.99): cowboy hats, boots, conchos and charm clusters, on our Earrings page.

How a western belt is put together

A western belt comes in two parts. The strap is wider and heavier than a dress belt, and it has snaps at the buckle end, so the buckle can come off. That means one strap can wear a horse buckle on Saturday and an engraved plate on Sunday. The simplest way to buy one is the Build Your Belt page: choose the strap, choose a buckle, give us your size, and we cut it to fit.

Western gifts by budget

• Under $30: a bolo tie, a pair of western earrings, or a second buckle for someone who already owns one of our straps.
• Under $100: a leather vest, a western strap, or our plain Western Strap with a buckle on it.
• $100 and up: a leather cowboy hat. Orders of $100 or more ship free in the U.S.
